Dublin West Beechtree Community Childcare is based in The Child & Family Centre, Meile An Rí, Balgaddy. Beechtree is a new, purpose built facility which opened in September 2012. We have 2 bright, spacious childcare rooms that open onto a wonderful natural, spacious garden.
Beechtree was established to meet the needs of families in the area offering preschool, afterschool and childcare facilities. Beechtree is ideally located for families who require afterschool care for their children who attend Divine Mercy Junior School.
We provide care and education for pre-school children aged 2 years 5 months up to school going age, as well as providing an Afterschool service for children from Junior Infants to 1st Class. (We are also currently reviewing the age we provide afterschool care for and would like to request families to contact us if you require afterschool are for older primary school children attending Divine Mercy Senior School).We offer places under the following schemes:
CCS scheme - we provide part time day care for children aged from 2.5 years old and offer 2 sessions daily:
ECCE scheme - we offer 2 sessions daily for children aged 3-4 years old.
We also provide after school care from Junior Infants - 1st Class years with collection from Divine Mercy Junior School.
During July and August we run a fun filled summer camp for all children. Families of the ECCE preschool children now have the option of applying for CCS funding over the summer months to avail of reduced fees.
Dublin West Beechtree has a team of fully qualified Early Years Educators who are committed to continous professional development to maintain amd improve quality provision for the children and families who attend our service.
We currently have places available and we are also taking enrolments for Children wishing to start in September. Remember to check your entitlements to a free year of childcare (ECCE scheme) or reduced rates (CCS scheme) if you are in receipt of a social welfare benefit. If in doubt, contact the South Dublin County Childcare Committee, the local social welfare office, give one of our centres a call or drop in and we will do our best to advise you.
