Early Years Education

Dublin West Childcare & Learning Services are committed to providing every child with the best introduction into education and learning in all its services.

By choosing a Dublin West Childcare & Learning Services facility to place your child, parents can be confident that their child will receive a quality experience that supports their development and learning.

Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates and all areas of Learning and Development are equally important and inter-connected.

The philosophy underpinning Early Years Education is that learning should be carefully planned with an emphasis on activities that are relevant and motivating for each child. Practitioners support children's learning through planned play and extending and developing children's spontaneous play.

Areas of learning and development and early learning goals:

  • Personal, social and emotional development
  • Communication, language and literacy
  • Problem solving, numeracy and reasoning
  • Knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Physical development
  • Creative development
