Dublin West Limetree

Our service:

The Dublin West Lime Tree service is located in the ACE Enterprise Park, Bawnogue Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. Limetree is a purpose built child care service with all rooms having direct access to a natural spacious outdoor area with developed areas for exploring, learning and developing as an extension of the indoor classrooms.
We offer an emergent play based curriculum focusing and responding to each child's interest and individual developmenetal needs which creates meaningful learning experiences for all. Our dedicated educators implement Aistear - the National Early Childhood Curriculum Framework supported by Síolta - the National Quality Framework, to ensure our children and families recieve the best care and education during their earliest years.

We cater for children age 1-5 years in our four rooms:
  • Wobbler room (1-2 years)
  • Toddler room 1 (2-3 years)
  • Toddler Room 2 (2-3 Years)
  • Pre School room (3-5 years)

Opening hours:

  • Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 07.30 – 18.15. We offer part-time and full-time childcare and offer additional hours around the free preschool year. We operate 52 weeks a year.

We offer places under the following schemes:

  • ECCE (Early Childhood, Care and Education)

  • CETS (Childcare, Education and Training Scheme)

Our Staff:

The Limetree team are fully qualified Early Years Educators with a range of knowledge and experience and are committed to continous professional development.  We also have a full time cook and part time cleaner. All food is freshly cooked daily on the premises.  The children are provided with seasonal, nutritionally balanced meals and a variety of menus which rotate on a 3 weekly cycle.  Our kitchen facilities are fully HACCP compliant and our staff are fully trained in Food Safety Hygiene.

We currently have places available and we are also taking enrolments for Children wishing to start in September. Remember to check your entitlements to a free year of preschool  (ECCE scheme) or reduced rates (CCS scheme) if you are in receipt of a social welfare benefit. If in doubt, contact the South Dublin County Childcare Committee, the local social welfare office, give one of our Centre’s a call or drop in and we will do our best to advise you.
